Terminator

Worklog: Here

I'll be back. Sorry, I had to do it!

A classic line from a classic film and forum member Frenkie seems to be a fan too. We had a bit of a shock when we entered his project log with a model skull that looked a little too lifelike. Thankfully Frenkie doesn't appear to have been the one behind any missing person reports.

Instead he's quickly turned the skull into the chrome head of a Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 aka Terminator. What's more he's started fashioning other parts of the Terminator too all based around an appropriate Antec Skeleton case in that's sure to be a popular mod on bit-tech.

That scary skull is soon modded into a more human shape with trimmed gnashers and then into a more cyborg form. Purpose cut holes make way for various features of the Terminator skull which allow for circuitry and chromed surfaces to mimmick the terrifying machine from the film in detail.

It's a neural-net processor. It thinks and learns like we do. It's superconducting at room temperature. Well not really but Frenkie chose a Scythe Orichi CPU cooler as the subject for a mod depicting the famous processor. As well as the Cyberdine Systems logo which he etched onto the side, the top heatsinks are painted so they look like the actual processor from the film.

Fashioned from spare parts, Frenkie is also working on limbs of the Terminator too. Let's hope this thing doesn't start walking as it's certainly not as friendly as R2D2. Chrome is an important look here so Frenkie spent some time painting the Skeleton's fans.

Those evil red eyes are the things nightmares are made of. By placing red LEDs in bulbs then cutting paper and foil to shape, Frenkie managed to pull this off pretty well with an angry look to boot. One final image shows Project: Terminator in a more recent state with the skull attached to the Antec Skeleton.
